Top MEA destination cities for FDI capex Q1 2015

In the first quarter of 2015, Abidjan received the most FDI of any city in the Middle East and Africa, with inflows amounting to $1.75bn. This was significantly more than second placed Dubai, which recorded $960m of FDI capital expenditure in the period. 

Rwandan capital Kigali and Mozambican capital Maputo ranked third and fourth, with capital inflows of $880m and $870m, respectively. The fifth ranking city by FDI capital expenditure was Abu Dhabi, which saw FDI inflows of $430m in the first three months of the year.
