Investment volumes in commercial real estate have risen consistently in the past six years, with the office sector attracting more than double that of any other property type, says Cushman & Wakefield.
While growth in real estate turnover remained steady in Europe and North America and rose steeply in Asia, the most dramatic growth was experienced in Latin America, which did not even make an appearance as an investment destination before 2006.

However, regardless of growth rates, the US remains the world’s top investment destination for commercial property by a long way, attracting more than double that of any other investment destination, though foreign investment only represents 10% of North America’s overall trading.
