Transcanada plans pipeline

Canadian company TransCanada is planning a $2bn pipeline in the US that would ship natural gas from the Rockies to the Midwest. The Pathfinder pipeline will be 1080 kilometres long and will run from Colorado to North Dakota, where it will link with another pipeline. The pipeline will initially ship 34 million cubic metres of gas per day, with an ultimate capacity of 45 million cubic metres a day. Construction is scheduled to finish in November.
