Florida East Coast Industries (FECI) has completed a 30,000 square-foot expansion of its headquarters in Coral Gables, worth $12m in new capital investment. It will create 32 new high-paying jobs in three years.

The IATA (International Air Transport Association) has committed to a 10,000 square-foot expansion of its Waterford at Blue Lagoon Latin American and Caribbean regional office in Miami. The expansion is worth $2.5m in capital investment and will create 56 high-paying jobs within three years. The organisation will be relocating the jobs from other offices in the US, Canada and Latin America to Miami-Dade.

Burt Hill, Citizen Events, Inline Sales and Rentacool will also open new offices in the area.
