New York City is the most popular US location for companies eyeing up office space, according to fDiMarkets.

Throughout the period of January 2003 to February 2011, the US city has been far and away the favoured destination in the US to locate an office.

Meanwhile, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco are all vying for second place. The year 2010 appears to have been New York’s most fruitful, with fDiMarkets finding that the city saw 66 office-related FDI projects in comparison with 42 in 2009.
