It has the capacity to produce 300,000 litres of shampoo and 20,000 kilograms of lip cream a year, in addition to other products. Rohto previously had shipped these goods to Indonesia from factories in Japan and China. Through local production, Rohto aims to double its sales of skin-care products in Indonesia to $20m by 2012.
