South Korea-based EWP has signed a memorandum of understanding with the firm Sahara India Power and has laid plans to construct and manage two power  plants, the building of which is due to commence in early 2011 and be  finished by 2013.

The plants are expected to produce 1320MW of  electricity and in total the investment will be $1.6bn.
