Sumitomo Saudi Arabia JV

Sumitomo Corporation of Japan has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ahmad H Algosaibi & Brothers of Saudi Arabia, and Washington Mills Management of the US, to form a joint venture to construct and operate a plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia for manufacturing silicon carbide. The plant will have a capacity of 24,000 metric tonnes per year.
