The new office in Libya’s capital city, Tripoli, is the first by a ‘big

four’ consulting company to have a full member firm operating in the country.

Libya is a new and promising growth market in Africa, which continues to open up to international business, according to Ernst & Young Middle East chairman Ahmed Al Aiban.

The firm is already recruiting local talent. It has core staff of 25 local and expatriate professionals, and aims to recruit locally to increase this figure to 50 by the end of 2008.
