Americas top FDI destination cities by jobs, H2 2015

New York City was a clear leader in the Americas for new jobs deriving from FDI between July 1 and December 31, 2015, with a total of 5760. Gaudalajara, Mexico’s largest metropolitan area after Mexico City, came second with 3782 new jobs.

Mexican border city Tijuana is ranked third, with 3,200 over the same period. Guaralhos, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, came fourth, with 3063 new FDI jobs.

Just behind Guaralhos is Ciénega de Flores, also in Mexico, with 3,000.
