The real estate sector was the top job creator in Europe in the first half of 2018, adding 234,761 jobs.
Software and IT services was next up, creating 80,796, ahead of the automotive components sector, which added 63,214 new roles.

Consumer products saw 57,108 jobs created in the first half of the year, ahead of the food and tobacco sector, which created 54,673 jobs in H1.
