In February 2021, fDi Intelligence will publish its ranking of the economic, financial and business strengths of cities across the world – ‘Global Cities of the Future 2021/22’. We are searching for those cities with the most promising prospects for inward investment, economic development and business expansion.

fDi Magazine will publish the top cities in the following categories: Economic Potential, Cost Effectiveness, Connectivity, Human Capital and Lifestyle, Business Friendliness and FDI Strategy.

fDi Benchmark will analyse quantitative data for all categories, with the exception of FDI Strategy. For this qualitative category, we invite those charged with FDI promotion to complete a short online survey detailing the current FDI strategy they offer potential investors. Participation in the FDI Strategy category with the survey will enhance your location’s overall performance in the rankings.
