The winners, announced at MIPIM in Cannes, are Cogedim (developer), Credit Agricole Immobilier (investor) and Fuksas/Desvigne/Mathoulin/AB/ Lehoux-Phily-Samaha (architects).

The Euromed Centre, a private investment project backed by €300m of public funding, will include a four-star hotel and conference centre, 45,000 square metres of office space, a 16-screen cinema multiplex with seating for 3000, as well as commercial activities connected with the rest of the city of Marseille.

The first section of the Euromed Centre will be under construction from mid-January 2007 and completion is planned for 2009.
