The 2007 winners of fDi's annual Personality of the Year awards were recognised at a ceremony in New Delhi attended by more than 200 people, including senior Indian government officials, business leaders, industrialists and the ambassadors of several foreign countries in India.

The awards reception, held at the Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi on August 31, and organised in conjunction with fDi's Indian partners, JVDheldden, was followed by a dinner hosted by Confederation of Indian Industry president Sunil Bharti Mittal, who is also chairman and managing director of the Bharti telecoms group.
