As Indian companies grow in importance as a source of outbound foreign direct investment projects, much of their attention has remained on the Asia-Pacific region, followed by Europe.

North America has been relatively under-represented as a destination for Indian investment, but looks to capture a great share in the future, according to research by Oxford Intelligence.

Oxford Intelligence research teams in India and in the UK interviewed Indian CEOs and executives about how they view the world and what is driving their international investment strategies. Findings were published in two reports in 2007: Global Outbound FDI Potential of Indian Companies and Key International Investors/ Indian Companies.
