South Africa and Egypt were next highest of the top five, with 10 and 8 projects each.
Fronteir market Angola came in a remarkable fifth place in receiving 6 projects.
The dominant investor in the region was India, which actually outpaced the US, with 16 projects versus the Americans’ 14.
The UAE was also the fourth largest investor in the region with 10 inward projects.
